So small and so fast I finally managed a clear shot of the waxeye sipping at the flax flowers. I am trying to capture some of the wonderful rowdy bird life that wakes me each morning, a delight in its cacophony, it’s somehow soothing and familiar.

•November 8, 2015 • Leave a CommentLovely day out with my mum and friends visiting a sculpture show that is hosted on an old farm on Banks Peninsula near Charteris Bay. The trees and grass with their bright green spring colors made the perfect setting and I had the best strawberry lammington in my whole life ….mmm fresh cream with passionfruit couli filling a delicious moist cake dipped in strawberry sauce and coated in coconut… classic kiwi treat.
