Wonderful warm evening to listen to the entertainment and take in the lanterns and the teeming masses. A struggle to walk against the tide and creative contortion to take photos without a hundred tourists standing in front of the exhibits but a fun evening out.
It was a long day… It was an interesting day… And it was lovely to see Avebury House restored and full of children, but it was definitely not a market for my prints or actually anyone else’s things, very very quiet – sold some rocks and two paintings . Looks like I will have to try again as I now have a whole lot of rocks :)!
The market is Saturday and who knows if any of these will sell so I took a trip to birdlings flat today and have been busily gluing piles of rocks – I will rock this market even if nothing sells.
Walking in the sun along the river and all shook up with an earthquake……. what could be more lovely than to catch the light shining through a rose to show me there is always hope no matter how dark thinks seem at the moment.
Emperors New Clothes – my new favourite coffee shop awesome coffee and delectable delicious delights, just across the road from my old primary school. I sometimes struggle with the uphill walk but it is totally worth it .
I guess this might need some explanation – this is one of the pieces I plan to print onto postcards for the market.
