A bit of an update
So it’s been just a whole lot more of the same. More tests and more results that don’t seem to make sense. Finally saw a gastroenterologist and he thinks I may have a rare motility disorder that keeps Zebo happy and has invited in Zebos mate Imo. He told me he was going to get some lab work done on gut lining samples and I was more than a little concerned at how he was going to get those samples. Fortunately they keep them after an op so they could use what I already had. A little more confidence boosting than my surgeon who carefully explained the next step may be removing my colon completely or giving me an ileostomy both of which elicited a No! And Hell No! So we carry on looking for something to give me some relief. I did manage to get out a few times before mushroom season ended.

Weirdly just as I was trying to pull out of doing anything with the balms (working for free has just gotten so much harder) Foodstuffs decided they would take them on. Foodstuff are one half of the supermarket duopoly here and although we are just starting with 5 stores it does actually open up an opportunity to actually make some money. Right when I am really not able to keep up with the work load. Sometimes I just wonder at my ability to snack defeat from the jaws of victory. It’s an art I seem to have perfected.
We had the hardest frost ever here a wee while ago and it hammered everything. Now with lots of rain and the spring thaw my poor garden look like the apocalypse. I think every moment I am able I have to get out there and rescue what I can. Maybe that will give me a little more incentive to post …. You may not have noticed but I can be a wee bit slow sometimes 🤣
