More of the same

I am headed down to Christchurch for mums 92nd birthday, I think I have mentioned before that we have all decided to treat every birthday as special as we don’t know how many she has left and she doesn’t, want a funeral or everyone to rush to Christchurch when she is dead, she would prefer to see us now and enjoy the celebrations. She won’t remember most of it so we will write everything we can in her daily book that details her life. She reads it constantly, looking back and trying to remember what she did. She has embraced the concept of a birthday week, since she won’t remember we get to celebrate again and again. This time we will take her for a birthday brunch with Fiona and Colin and myself, then another birthday lunch with Aunty Kaye on Wednesday. She has her official birthday celebration at Ian’s on Saturday and then Yifei has her birthday celebration on Sunday. It’s going to be a busy week.

My health is a bit fragile still with my concrete garden ornament gestation period extended. The plus is I found some drugs to stop feeling nauseous but the side effects literally knocked me out. So we will try something new, who knows what weird side effects I can come up with on the new lot. I should have my new CT soon and I hope that gives some answers.

However nothing stops me getting out as fungi season has started early.
